Military Discounts at Universal Orlando Resort’s City Walk

Did you know that there are Military Discounts available for you at Universal Studios City Walk in Orlando, FL?

While not quite as extensive as their local competition, there are a few restaurants that do offer nice military discounts.

Margaritaville

Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville offers a 10%military discount.

Island Eats And Laidback Lyrics – Whether you arrive by land, air, or sea, you’re always welcome at this ultra-relaxed ode to island life. Unwind to the tune of live musicians playing Jimmy Buffett covers, tropical sounds, and rock hits, all while awaiting the eruption of the margarita-filled volcano at The Volcano Bar.

Bubba Gump Shrimp

This Movie themed restaurant form Forest Gump offers a 10% military discount.

Just Like Mama Makes It – Bubba said it best: “Shrimp is the fruit of the sea.” Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. serves up this versatile seafood along with a host of Southern favorites, from award-winning baby back ribs to fried chicken, fresh fish dishes, and homemade desserts. The chefs proudly offer gluten-free and kids’ menus, as well.

Hard Rock Cafe

The Hard Rock offers a 10 to 15% military discount.

I could not get a better definition of their discount, the hostess and I looked at their “Info Book” together and sure enough it said “Military 10 – 15%” When she called the manager, they couldn’t clarify it any better. So be sure to ask for the 15%!!!

The two-story Hard Rock Cafe Hollywood at Universal CityWalk has been impressing visitors and locals alike since 1996. From outside, you’ll marvel at the Taj Mahal-influenced building and the giant guitar fountain that serves as a CityWalk landmark. As you enter, you’ll be immersed in a world of authentic music history with famous guitars, clothes worn by your favorite artists, and a revolving 1957 classic car perched over the center bar.

Note: From time to time you may have a server who is not up to speed.

In the past some servers were knowledgeable about the military discount their location offered, but others had to ask their manager. So be sure to ask them to double check if they say they don’t offer one!!!

Also don’t be afraid to ask at locations not on the list! You never know, at one location without a military discount the person gave me his Disney cast member discount and thanked me for my service.
